HUMANE EDUCATIONAL EVENTS & WORKSHOPS

Our mission for M.A.W.S. is to focus on HUMANE EDUCATION.   To raise the status of animals in society by CONNECTING, ASSISTING, and EDUCATING the community on animal welfare resources and services. As well as ADVOCATING for animals and being their voice as work to reduce their unnecessary suffering, by working together and helping each other to help more animals.

Our vision is that one day pets will not be given up on, dumped at shelters and rescues, and met with a tragic end.   Everyday pets are relinquished in our country,  relinquished, re-homed and euthanize. 1.5 million animals are adopted each year in our country, but unfortunately half of them are returned and the number one reason is behavior issues.   We want to improve the systems currently in place to help people and animals. Whether it is mentally, physically, medically or financially.

Our hope for our future is to reduce suffering happening in our country, by empowering people with tools and knowledge they will have for the rest of their lives.    Our vision is to continue to put together a strong network of people that have dedicated their lives to improving the lives of animals in our society working together. M.A.W.S. has been and will continue to be involved in creating and supporting programs in partnership with the following organizations:

  • Animal Businesses
  • Animal Non-Profits
  • Animal Shelters
  • Animal Rescue Organizations
  • Pet Expos & Events
  • USPS Safety Symposiums
  • School Education Programs
  • Veterinarian Practices
  • Senior Living Therapy Programs
  • Dogs in Classrooms
  • Prison Programs
  • Veteran Programs

We believe that we can help ourselves in the process of helping our animals.  That's why we are on a mission to SHARE THE GOOD NEWS working together to help more animals!
